Making my first card!!

I have been dying to try and make a card. I've been youtubing videos and googling tutorials. So, I felt like I was ready to try and I finally (unfortunately really) had a reason to make a card.
I know, I know, I don't need a reason to make a card. But I find it easier when I have inspiration.
So, my step-father's brother had surgery a few days ago. I said perfect I can make a card for him and hopefully brighten his day!!!

It only took me maybe an hour!! I am so proud of myself!
HERE IT IS!:

Yupp A Tri-Fold Card at that!! Did I say how Proud I was of this!! :)
Now it's time to clean up the mess! Thanks for looking!

Happy Crafting!!

Tack It Over & Over

I just got a special delivery and wanted to share! Sunday night I order Aleene's Tack It Over & Over to remat my Cricut mat. It finally came! So for those of you who take a look at this all you need to make your Cricut mat sticky again is:

1. Get Aleene's Tack It Over & Over. It needs to be this other wise just Tack It Glue will dry and not be sticky.
2. A container that you can keep the extra "Rematting Solution" in.
3. A foam paint brush.
4. Of course your cricut mat!
5. To make the solution all you need is a 50/50 mix of the glue and water. (That's why I said a container to keep it in. It'll make a lot and you don't need a lot at once. It's nice to keep it on hand!)
6. Make sure you mix the solution, I just used a disposable spoon.
7. Dip your paint brush and begin "painting" on the solution. You don't need much.
8. Let it sit for about one hour.
9. Voila!!! A new cricut mat!!! If it's too sticky just walk your hands over it to take some of the stickiness away!

I just had to share this secret!! Now I'm ready to use my Cricut again!

Wedding Mission #1

My mission today.. If I'm brave enough to accept it. :) Is to take ALL of this:

...and turn it into all my wedding bouquets!! I'm fairly confident they will turn out gorgeous. I did the same thing for a friend of mine's wedding.  Takes a lot of time but it saves soooo much money! And if you look closely this time around I borrowed my fiance's wire cutters. A luxury I did not have the first go around! LOL I'm sure it'll be much easier to use that then fight with the stems using scissors!

I'd love to write more but I have to get going if I want to finish the EIGHT that I need!!! :)
I will definitely post pictures of the final products when I have them all nice and finished!

Happy Crafting!!!
